Tech Update: Resound Quattro Support for Android Phones is (finally) Here!
So, they originally told us (and we told you) that Linx Quattro hearing aids would be compatible with Android phones in “early 2019”…and then it became available in March 2020, but the world got complicated…so, he we are.
Better late than never!
An update to the ReSound Smart 3D app (v.1.7.0) is available for download in the App Store and in Google Play. This update includes the ability for Android smartphones to use the ReSound Smart 3D app to check if their device is compatible for direct streaming and more details on how to get started.
You can simply go to the ReSound Smart 3D app and tap My ReSound > Direct Audio Streaming to determine if your smartphone is:
- Compatible and set up to stream
- Compatible but your hearing aids are paired incorrectly
- Not currently compatible for direct streaming
